The Dry Fusion system
Why our carpets dry before your kettle's boiled twice
Traditional steam cleaning soaks the carpet, then relies on airflow to dry it out. In a Scottish winter that can take a day or more, and dense modern carpets trap detergent residue on the way.
Dry Fusion works differently. A patented heated pad warms the fibres while they are being cleaned, using about 95% less water. Four things happen in one pass:
- Hot clean at a neutral pH 7.2, approved by carpet manufacturers
- Deodorise with natural orange and vanilla extracts
- Stain protect every fibre with an invisible fluorocarbon shield
- Heat dry so the room is usable in about 30 minutes

How can a carpet be dry in 30 minutes?
The system uses about 95% less water than conventional carpet cleaning, and a patented heated pad warms the fibres while they're being cleaned. Because the carpet never gets soaked, it dries in around half an hour instead of overnight.
Is it safe for children and pets?
Yes. The solutions are non-hazardous, biodegradable and work at a neutral pH of 7.2, which carpet fibre manufacturers approve. A lot of conventional cleaners use pre-sprays at pH 10 to 12, which can damage fibres and leave sticky residue that attracts dirt.
